Group A Winner - Excalibur E-chess

Excalibur E-chess thoroughly deserved to win this group with a 83.4% performance and losing only two games in sixteen matches. But it was close, Excalibur Saber IV with a 81.3% performance narrowly missed becoming champion after losing to E-chess in Round 17. A draw would have been sufficient for Saber IV in that game in order to become Group A Champion. Saitek Mk 12 Trainer who finished in third place also did very well considering this machine’s playing level forced it to move in 15 seconds compared to the rest of the contestants. Fidelity Chess Challenger Sensory Voice narrowly stayed ahead of Fidelity Marauder in 4th place by the smallest of evaluated performance margin. These four machines qualify out of Group A for the next Stage of the U1400 Blue Championship.
