Toytronic was a handheld games manufacturer fron Hong Kong.  Toytronic briefly sold electronic chess computers between the years 1979 to 1981.  The chess programs themselves are based on the Fidelity Chess Challenger series written by Ron Nelson.  According to Ron Nelson he never received royalties for these which make these computers illegitimate unauthorized Chess Challenger 10 clones.

This new knowledge does make you want to reconsider the true origins of a few other early low end beginner level programmed chess computers, where the original programmer is hard to pin down as for example sold by CXG, Krypton, Systema, Hanimex and some others with some modifications to the game software that originated from Hong Kong.  After all why reinvent the wheel from scratch when you can just borrow from someone else!
