The MEPHISTO SUPER MONDIAL II is an evolution of the popular and successful SUPERMONDIAL. It combines the advantages of a number of new functions and uses. For a relatively low price this device provides you on the one hand with a play partner that is suitable for all chess enthusiasts, and on the other hand it can be transformed into a chess teacher and training partner with the MEPHISTO COLLEGE-module. With this module and the associated companion book you own a complete computerized advanced chess course that will teach you in all phases of the game, tactical and strategic knowledge.

Even if you do not have much experience in dealing with chess computers, you will soon be convinced that using your new MEPHISTO easy and convenient.   However, to allow you to exploit all the available features, you should read the manual in peace and become familiar with the various control options.

  • COLUMN A = Average Time Levels.
  • COLUMN B = Tournament Levels.
  • COLUMN C = Blitz Levels. (Equal time ie. Computer (first) 05 Minutes. & Human 05 Minutes.)
  • COLUMN D = Blitz Levels. (Unequal time ie. Computer (first) 02 Minutes & Human 05 Minutes.)
  • COLUMN E = Search Depth Levels (8 Ply Max.).
  • COLUMN F = Problem Solving Mate Levels (Mate-in-8 max.).
  • Infinite Level = A8.
  • COLUMN H = Special Function Modes:
    • H1 = INFO (Analysis) on/off.
    • H2 = Turn Chess Board on/off.
    • H3 = Sound on/off.
    • H4 = Opening Book on/off.
    • H5 = Best Move on/off. (off = more random play)
    • H6 = Permanent Brain on/off.
    • H7 = Easy Mode on/off.
    • H8 = Brute Force Mode (when ON)

Note: The special Function Mode settings shown in the table above are the default settings.
