The SCISYS CLASSICAL STYLE SUPER STRONG module is a supplementary program that increases Sensor Chess’s playing strength and extends its functions. It does not replace the basic chess computer program, it expands it. The CLASSICAL STYLE SUPER STRONG module increases the program size by 100%.
Sensor Chess’s playing strength is considerably increased by the CLASSICAL STYLE SUPER STRONG module. The module contains a rich library of openings which are selected by means of a built-in randomizer. In the middle game the computer moves faster and thinks more deeply, while in the end game, it pays more attention to the tactical use of pawns and of the king.
In addition to the classical systems such as the Italian, Sicilian, Queen’s Gambit, Ruy Lopez etc., it also plays the less well known openings and variations, e.g. the Modern Benoni defense, the Russian defense or several variations of the Indian defense system. With many openings (e.g. the closed Ruy Lopez) you will find that the computer follows a line from its opening library all the way through to the middle game. Regardless of the playing level to which you set Sensor Chess, the countermoves come at once. The openings library also includes some traps, particularly in the case of the Queen’s Gambit, so watch out for these!
In the middle game the chess computer proves a very skilled tactician that you can beat only by concentrating hard. The middle game is classical, i.e. the objective is generally rapid occupation of the center, development of all the pieces and preparation for a mating attack. It sets itself an objective and this is its consistent goal.
Each opening has its own strategic objectives so that it may frequently happen that well-known master games are followed for much further than the opening library extends.
You will find an improvement of the play in the end game as well with the CLASSICAL STYLE SUPER STRONG module. It thinks further ahead, has a better understanding of pawn tactics, and carefully shepherds them to promotion with its King.
