MEPHISTO Roma II is a reduced price version of Roma 68000. The program is written by Richard Lang. The Roma program was Richard Lang’s 3 rd consecutive World Microcomputer Championship while working for Mephisto, winning the 1997 Tournament which was held in Rome, Italy.
Roma II has a 68000 16 bit processor. The only difference between Roma II and the Roma 68000 version that was originally launched in 1987 is the CPU speed. Roma II runs at 10 MHz while the original 68000 ran at 12 MHz.
