The MEPHISTO MIRAGE module first came out in 1985. The module can be used with Mephisto Modular Boards or with the Mephisto Mobil Modular Travel Unit. Mephisto also developed a sensory board for the MIRAGE as seen here. MIRAGE plays a nice game at around 1550 - 1600 ELO.  The modular board itself only works with Mephisto Mirage chess module.
