MAIN FIDELITY DESIGNER 2000 MODEL 6102 GAME CHARACTERISTICS

  • 12 levels of playing strength - levels 1 through 5 train you to look ahead by restricting the computers ability look ahead in plies (half moves). Levels 6 through 11 enable you to play the computer with preset time controls.
            • Level 1 -- 1 ply search.
            • Level 2 -- 2 ply search.
            • Level 3 -- 3 ply search.
            • Level 4 -- 4 ply search.
            • Level 5 -- 5 ply search.
            • Level 6 -- 60 moves in 5 minutes (avg. 5 seconds).
            • Level 7 -- 60 moves in 15 minutes (avg. 15 seconds).
            • Level 8 -- 60 moves in 30 minutes (avg. 30 seconds).
            • Level 9 -- 60 moves in 1 hour (avg. 1 minute).
            • Level 10 -- 30 moves in 1 hour (avg. 2 minutes).
            • Level 11 -- 40 moves in 2 hours (avg. 3 minutes).
            • Level 12 -- Infinite mode (avg. user selectable).

  • Estimated tournament rating of 2000 points.
  • Coaching feature suggests moves for you to make.
  • 64 selectable book openings. Book Opening library of 16,000 positions.
  • Take-back feature - if you make a mistake, or want to change the direction of the game you may take back one or as many as 256 half moves!
  • Fast counter-moves - the computer starts calculating its next move while you are thinking about your move enabling it to respond quickly.
  • Problem solving mode.
  • Uses 4 AA alkaline batteries or AC Adapter.
