CHESS MASTER written by Alex Ford in 1983 for the Commodore 64 is another copy of SARGON II. The SARGON 2 chess engine written by Dan & Kathe Spracklen which was originally published in 1983 for the Commodore 64.

You must remember when using an Emulator that the position of the minus sign (-) on a Commodore 64/128 is the equal sign (=) on a PC. To enter your moves using an Emulator you must enter as follows: e2=e4 etc. ! Function Key F1 toggles between the Chess Board and the Move Information Menu. You can enter chess moves in both screens. Function Key F5 returns you to the Main Menu where you can start a NEW GAME.
